A Rotorua student has inspired top New Zealand craft experts with her bag entry in a nationwide fashion and craft competition.
Jane Lee, 20, from John Paul College was selected as the winner out of three finalists for the craft category in her age group for her bag entry in the fashion and craft competition, Brother Design Stars.
Brother Design Stars is a national sewing and craft competition open to students in school years 7 to 13 giving young, budding fashion designers and creative artists the chance to showcase their talent and creativity.
Students could enter one of two categories, fashion and craft, for a chance to win thousands of dollars' worth of prizes.
Her bag also featured on the runway at New Zealand Fashion Week as part of The Graduate Show that took place last Thursday.
