Students at Rotorua Intermediate School shone in their school's talent quest recently.

A total of 22 acts performed in front of judges Mercia Yates, Chris Webber, Jordi Webber and Liam Dixon.

First place went to Tennessee Whiskey consisting of Paretoroa and Hemi, second went to Matthew who played Somewhere Over The Rainbow on the saxophone, third place went to Kieta who sang Tangaroa, while Highly Commended 1 went to Jayden who did Stand By Me, Highly Commended 2 went to Ben who did Stairway to Heaven and Highly Commended 3 went to the Teletubbies' comedy performance.
