It may not have been the jackpot - but a Lotto ticket bought in Rotorua has won one lucky punter $23,946.

While all eyes were on Powerball, 20 lucky Lotto players scooped the Second Division Lotto prize in last night's Lotto draw.

One of those was sold at Pak'nSave Rotorua.

Anyone who bought their ticket from there should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through Lotto NZ's ticket-checker smartphone app.

Powerball First Division was not struck and has rolled over to Saturday night where the jackpot will be $40 million and will be a must be won draw.
