Top Kids Pukuatua children enjoy their last excursion before some started school.

On Friday, January 29, 40 children, many parents and teachers from Top Kids Pukuatua went to Paradise Valley Lion Park for an excursion.

Lots of fun and learning was had by all, including feeding the animals and giving some a pat.

We held four graduations while we were there which was special for the children who started school the next week.

Everyone had a fish and chip lunch before heading back to the centre. It will be an annual trip for our children who will be going to school.

One child said: "I can hear the sound of reindeer, now I can smell them too!" as we approached the deer.
