Rotorua kids put their detective skills to the test at The Great Rotorua Museum Easter Egg Hunt at the weekend.
On Friday the search began to find 10 Easter eggs and a rabbit hidden in the museum, using various clues and a map.
The Easter eggs weren't the edible kind, but children who found all the eggs were put into the draw to win a hamper filled with chocolate treats.
Johdeci Te Kani, 8, was one of hundreds of children who joined the hunt.
He and his brother Blake, 7, have been going to the event since it began a few years ago and said it was "loads of fun".
