Popular Kiwi musician Tiki Taane is promising a special night when he plays at Rotorua nightclub Heaven and Hell tomorrow night.
The celebrated musician told The Daily Post it would be his third gig at Heaven and Hell but this time he would be offering something different.
"The first shows were me as a DJ and MC, but this is the first time I'll be playing an acoustic set. There will be some old Salmonella Dub stuff, some new unreleased music - a good old singalong."
During his acoustic set, where show-goers will get to see and hear just Tiki and his guitar, he will also be playing covers from the likes of the Kings of Leon and Bob Marley.
"I'm really looking forward to it," he said.
Later in the night, Tiki and local DJ ToneDef will dish out the beats, mixing up some cool sounds for the late-night crowd.
Heaven and Hell nightclub owner Pato Alvarez encouraged people to make a night of it, also enjoying dinner and a cocktail at the Royale Lounge, his newly opened venue next door to Heaven and Hell.
Mr Alvarez said tickets to Tiki Taane's gigs were hot property and there would be limited $20 door sales on the night.
"People should get their pre-sale tickets from Xploit for $15. The last time Tiki played here, we sold 600 tickets, so I can't guarantee there will be any left for door sales," he said.
Doors open at 9pm, with music from 10.30pm until closing at 3am.
