A touch on the sexist side there, Google?

Soaking up your cash

Who lives in a piggybank under the sea? The New Zealand Mint is making a SpongeBob Squarepants four-coin set. The limited edition set featuring SpongeBob and his mates Patrick, Gary, and Sandy (what, no Squidward?) is made of silver and will cost $350. And you were wondering what to get the kids for Christmas this year ...

Airport woes

A mother shares her not-so-fantastic experience at Auckland Airport: "I arrived last week from overseas at the end of the long concourse, with a tired toddler, a few bags (necessary for toddler on long flight), to be told our stroller would not be available until the baggage hall (a good 700m walk). I struggled as far as duty free with no airport help staff in sight, no strollers for hire or to borrow, no toilets, no carts, and only one short travelator. Once we got to duty free, help was finally available, and was very good, but you need it right from the gate, not after a half-kilometre walk! When we eventually did get our stroller back, it was soaking wet."

In the name of common sense

"I got married just over a year ago and last week I finally began the daunting process of changing my name," writes Chelsea. "Most companies have happily changed my name, some requiring a copy of my marriage certificate. My driver's licence (understandably) charged a fee and that was the only cost until I received an email from Woosh explaining that there will be a 'one-off cost of $51.95 involved if the name on the account has to be changed'. No thanks, think I will stick to my maiden name on this one."
