Top London school abuse check

LONDON - An inquiry has been launched into claims of child abuse at the London Catholic school where Prime Minister Tony Blair's teenage sons are pupils.

According to reports, the allegations are about a former chaplain and governor at the London Oratory School, who died of a suspected Aids-related illness two years ago, aged 44.

Police and social services were alerted after pupils wrote letters about Father David Martin to Childline, an abuse helpline. Two boys were said to be afraid that they had contracted the HIV virus, reported the BBC.

There was no suggestion that Blair's sons Euan, aged 16, or Nicholas, who turns 15 today, were involved in the investigation.
