Runner's freezing night in the bush

Stephanie Bergonia-Ward was cold, lost and had no food or water. She had gone for a run with her dog in the Hunua Ranges early last night when she lost her way. Her family raised the alarm last night after she failed to return home, and searchers were called out. The 20-year-old, who was wearing only a singlet and shorts, was found shivering and tired along her Pitbull-Labrador cross, Kitarah, just before 7am.
