Truck crash
causes delays
Earlier, a truck crash on Auckland's Newmarket Viaduct caused a long backlog of traffic on the city's Southern Motorway.
Transport authorities said the crash scene has now been cleared and traffic was flowing easily.
A police spokeswoman said a car and truck collided at the Newmarket viaduct around 1.40pm.
Both vehicles had been travelling south.
A spokeswoman from St John's clinical control said three people had minor injuries and paramedics had assessed them at the scene.
Time Saver traffic reported that the crash, southbound, had resulted in a queue of traffic back to the off-ramps in the inner city.
