Auckland's port motorway link was blocked this morning, causing traffic to build around St Mary's Bay
A crash that blocked a busy central Auckland motorway link heading to the Port has been cleared.
The New Zealand Transport Agency said traffic was now heavy in the area after an earlier crash on the Spaghetti Junction link from the Northern Motorway to the waterfront.
Traffic was diverted onto the North-western Motorway and motorist were advised to take an earlier exit to avoid getting caught up in queues.

The crash caused congestion from the Harbour Bridge and traffic still remained heavy in the area.
