Looking for a venue for a very romantic proposal, a stag do with a difference or a place to recreate your own version of Disney on Ice?

Well, you're in luck.

Exclusive use of the Aotea Square Ice Rink on Thursday night is being auctioned. It was launched last week with a $1 reserve. Last night bids on the auction - which ends on Tuesday night - had topped $112.

The winning bidder will have exclusive two-hour access to the rink for up to 100 people - the night before the temporary rink is opened to the public this Friday.

Skates, helmets will be provided for up to 100 punters. The auction's online listing states: "A romantic gesture? The best birthday party surprise? A fundraiser? Or simply a great night out for your team."

The annual winter ice rink attracts up to 20,000 each year.
