A man who is on trial for alleged assault against his high profile wife and their children has today been found guilty of four of 14 charges.
A jury found the husband, who has name suppression, guilty of assault on a child and three charges of breach of a protection order.
The jury found him not guilty of four counts of assaulting a female, while it was hung on six others. Those charges were threatening to kill, two charges of assault on a child and a charge of sexual violation.
The jury went out at 11.30am yesterday. The decision was delivered just before 5pm today at Hamilton District Court.
