A toddler struck by a car in South Auckland today is now in a stable condition.
The 2-year-old boy was hit on Hollyford Rd, Clover Park, about midday.
He was first taken to Kidz First children's hospital at Middlemore before being transferred to the Starship in central Auckland later in
the afternoon.
His condition at the time was described as critical.
Late tonight, a spokesman for the Starship said the boy was now in a stable condition and had been admitted to a ward.
