Police are on the hunt for two men who held up a Mangere service station last night, armed with a gun.
The men, dressed head to toe in black, entered BP on Bader Drive at about 7.40pm.
One fired a shot during the hold up, but the two people in store - a staff member and a customer - were left uninjured.
A spokeswoman said police were hoping to hear from anyone who saw the two men, who left the service station on foot with about $400 in cash which they took from the BP.
She said the pair ran on to Ashgrove Rd, where they may have had a car waiting.
The petrol station was closed this morning.
A BP spokeswoman said no staff or customers were injured during the ordeal.
She said the store is franchised, but the company was supporting the owners.
"Our staff are currently working closely with the owner and we will continue to offer any support we can," she said.
