Counties Manukau police are hunting this man after a robbery at a Papakura bar last night.

At about 9pm two men entered the Coyote Bar in Papakura armed with a softball bat. Bar staff were able to keep themselves safe by locking themselves in the office while the offenders stole the cash register from the counter.

The two offenders fled into Elliot St where they were witnessed getting into a dark four-door car driven by a third person.

One of the offenders was caught on camera and police have released his photograph in a bid to identify him.

Anyone who recognises this man or knows anything about the incident at Coyote Bar last night should call the Counties Manukau Crime Squad on 09 261 1321. Information can be provided anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
