Save A woman has been flown to Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries after her car fell up to 30 metres down a bank in Canterbury this morning.
Police confirmed she sustained cuts and a minor leg injury in the incident, which took place on West Coast Road, Springfield, at around 8.40am.
Ambulance Services earlier reported three people were in the car at the time it plunged 20m-30m over the bank.
However team manager Paul Burns later confirmed the female driver was the only occupant of the vehicle when it crashed.
