A large tree has fallen down on a house in the south east Auckland suburb of Pakuranga.
The tree came down on the house in Ti Rakau Drive just before 4.00PM.
Fire northern communications shift manager Jaron Phillips said it had made a large hole and caused substantial damage.
"We also believe there is the potential for the tree to fall further and completely crush the house, so we have a specialist rescue team out there using Acrow props to try and prevent that from happening."
Jaron Philips said everyone in the house managed to escape and there were no injuries.
He said another tree has fallen down across the road on Woodlands Park Road in west Auckland's Titirangi.
