Half Moon Bay stabbing victim named

Police have named a 24-year-old student found stabbed to death in his Auckland home.

Henry Pan was found dead at a Half Moon Bay address about 10.15pm on Friday.

Police said Mr Pan grew up and was educated in Pakuranga before going onto Auckland University where he graduated with honours from the School of Engineering.

He was employed in the computer industry in Auckland.

A 23-year-old man from Pakuranga has been arrested and charged with murder.
