A woman has told of her fury and revulsion at discovering her "sicko" half-brother had secretly filmed her, and other women, in the shower.
"He should have gone to prison, even if it was for six months, to be totally removed from society and he can absorb what he's done,"
said Sharon, who asked that her full name not be used.
"It's ripped our family apart. The only thing he's sorry about is that he got caught."
The Wellington man was this week sentenced to six months' home detention, 200 hours' community work and $30,000 reparation for filming people in the shower with a camera hidden in a wall socket and hooked up to a computer in his office.
His crime was discovered when one of the women he was living with was cleaning behind the oven and found a void full of up to 40 DVDs, labelled with women's names.
