Santas step out to sleigh child poverty

More than 800 people dressed in Santa costumes turned out at Waitemata Plaza in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour yesterday for the Great New Zealand Santa Run.

The event was held throughout the country in support of the KidsCan charity, which fights child poverty.
