David Bain's 111 emergency call to Ambulance officer Thomas Dempsey as transcribed by independent forensic consultants Professor french and Mr Harrison from the University of York.

Bain: Help

Dempsey: Yeah

Bain: They're all dead

Dempsey: What's the matter?

Bain: They're all dead. I came home and they're all dead.

Dempsey: Whereabouts are you?

Bain: Erm- erm Every St

Dempsey: W-w- Every St?

Bain: 65 Every St. They're all dead.

Dempsey: Who's all dead?

Bain: My family, they're all dead, hurry up.

Dempsey: It's okay. Every St, and it runs-off Somerville St?

Bain: Yes

Dempsey: Mn-hm
