Preparations for this weekend's Janet Agnew Carnival Doubles Tournament are almost complete.
Tennis Northland's Charles Adler said the tournament was pretty much ready to go.
"Preparations are coming along nicely. We hope to get up around 100 entries again this
year which is on a par with previous years," he said.
"The courts are in excellent condition with the six plexipave courts which were resurfaced last year looking a picture."Recent working bees have enhanced the look of Thomas Neale Park as we approach the Tennis Seniors National Teams Tournament at Easter."
Competitors are not just from Northland, with the top seeds in the ladies division coming from Auckland.
