Vehicles roll near Kerikeri
Emergency services have been called out to two roll-overs in the Kerikeri area in less than 24 hours. Yesterday the Kerikeri Fire Brigade was shifting an appliance when firefighters came across a car on Wiroa Rd which had rolled into a drain and come to rest upside-down about 7.40am. A day earlier another vehicle rolled on SH10 near Oromahoe about 1.45pm, coming to rest on its roof partly blocking one lane. Both vehicles were single-occupant and neither suffered serious injury. The Oromahoe crash, however, left a lot of debris on the road, causing traffic delays while firefighters cleaned up the mess.
