A low in the Tasman Sea – which brought torrential rain to Queensland on Friday night – is this week moving towards New Zealand and will bring rain, possibly heavy, to some of our driest northern regions. The heaviest falls may be a bit hit and miss but latest rain maps and forecasts all indicate a fairly good chance of a downpour this week, especially from Tuesday PM to Thursday PM.
