Brooke Fraser has announced plans for a scaled-back tour of New Zealand in June.
The pregnant singer-songwriter had planned a 10-date tour for April, but scrapped it, leading to rumours spreading that the Something in the Water singer might be expecting.
Fraser confirmed that news via Facebook last week with a photo of her cradling her baby bump, with her husband Scott Ligertwood holding a picture of a smiley face emoticon next to her.
Today Fraser's confirming plans to perform three shows in June to make up for the cancelled dates. She'll perform at Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal on June 24, Wellington's Opera House on June 26, and Auckland's Holy Trinity on June 27.
And she's promising to play "intimate" shows "loaded with treats" to make up for the cancelled dates.
"New Zealand is so important to me and I wanted to make it home for shows before my doctor puts a kibosh on my travel," Fraser said.
"These shows are going to be very special for us all. It's going to be a little more intimate than the Brutal Romantic tour I have been on internationally, so I promise to load it with more treats for you fans who have been with me longer than anyone.
"I wish I could hit all the regions but I've been advised that a busier schedule will not be possible. At this point I'm already becoming well versed in what a beautifully exhausting experience pregnancy can be."
Fraser released her fourth album, Brutal Romantic, last year.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale on April 7.
In tour news of a slightly more modest scale, Ponsonby's Golden Dawn welcomes teenage Northern Ireland singer-songwriter SOAK - Bridie Monds-Watson - for a show on Saturday April 19. She's been named in plenty of ones-to-watch lists and toured with the likes of Chvrches, George Ezra and Tegan & Sara. Her jaunt here comes after a tour of UK skateparks.
