Adam Levine has apologised to a fan at a Maroon 5 concert after she was hit by a microphone he'd hurled while in a rage over sound issues.
During the gig at Toronto's Air Canada Centre, the Moves Like Jagger hitmaker became frustrated after a short power outage. In a video obtained by TMZ.com, the singer throws the his microphone to the ground which then hit fan Stephanie Green, who was seated in the front row.
Levine immediate ran over to check on Green and apologised for causing an injury to her forehead.
"In my flustered state, I might have thrown my microphone on the ground and then it might have bounced off of the ground, into poor, sweet Stephanie's face," he told the crowd. "I felt so utterly terribly that I had perhaps wounded this young fan."
