I am more than slightly anxious that we are featuring spring picnic ideas, encouraging you to head outside to cook spicy lamb cutlets with garlicky mushrooms on the barbecue and suggesting you cook asparagus for breakfast, lunch and dinner when it is still at ridiculously high new-season prices. We're also cooking our fish and chips on the barbecue and this hot sesame chicken and greens eases us gently in to salad season.
