Canvas is delighted to announce the second of our Canvas Hot Dinner events - this time with the newly re-opened Fish Restaurant at The Hilton, Auckland.

Fish has recently undergone an extensive renovation and will reopen with an enticing new menu, created by executive chef Gareth Stewart and head chef Fraser Shenton. Gareth is executive chef of the Nourish Group and one of the country's leading chefs, having worked as executive chef at Soul Bar and Bistro for eight years. He is delighted to team up with talented young head chef Fraser.
"There is a story behind each dish and we look forward to sharing that with our guests," says Gareth. "Reopening Fish Restaurant is an amazing opportunity to take a modern route to the way we present and offer our food."
Both chefs firmly believe that when it comes to seafood, fresh and simple is best, or as Fraser puts it: "Simple, unmolested and as close to the water as possible."
Canvas will exclusively reserve Fish Restaurant for readers on Wednesday, June 15, with guests enjoying a five-course meal created by Fraser and Gareth, with accompanying Yealands wines.
During the evening Fraser and Gareth will be in conversation with Canvas editor Michelle Hurley. Tickets are limited, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment.
