A child's bedroom is a great chance to create a themed room in your home. Try a neutral palette accessorised with items that can easily be changed out as your child grows, such as bedding, rugs, wall art and cushions.

For our update this week we envisage monochrome furniture with pops of gold and glitter, fun yet subtle shades of peach and blue plus, of course, cute prints and patterns.

Here are eleven ways to give your kids' rooms an easy update:

Candy cushions, $55. SHOP.

Gold glitter decorative alphabet letters, $15. SHOP.
