Diesel wanted to "push eroticism aggressively" in its new campaign.
The label's artistic director, Nicola Formichetti, has cast up-and-coming rapper Brooke Candy in Diesel's 2014 accessories advertisements. Brooke is known for her over-the-top, sexy aesthetic and is usually found in tiny metallic bikinis and sporting pink cornrows.
She pulls no punches with her look and has worked as an erotic dancer and mannequin stylist for Hustler.
Brook Candy's Instagram account captures her racy personality.
"Sexiness is one of Diesel's most iconic attributes," Nicola explained.
"There's something industrial about Diesel that is also very erotic, so it makes sense to push eroticism aggressively. It's leather, so it's tactile, sensual and strong. It's physical and also an attitude."
In the images, Brooke is seen wearing a bikini top and bondage-style gloves and choker. She clutches an oversize bag with studs as she crouches on the floor in one picture, while another sees her campaign co-star Tessa Kuragi posing with a tote next to a stripper pole.
"As a rapper, performer, muse, and stripper, Brooke Candy is an artist who has unique access to every social level," Nicola explained to style.com.
"She traverses class systems and defies racial and sexual stereotypes."
The images were shot by photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh.
The collection will be available to buy in November and was inspired by Japanese rope bondage art, Shibari. On Saturday a party will be held in Tokyo to celebrate the line, with Brooke taking to the stage to perform.
