We came here because we were due a post-school holiday catch-up and had heard about the garden out back, perfect on a sunny day.
Parking was in front, on the street.
We walked in and immediately thought the brick walls oozed atmosphere and art and the gardensetting on two levels was indeed a charmer.
The most unusual thing on the menu was brown rice porridge.
We ordered creamy portobello mushrooms with ciabatta and avocado ($17.50) and pancakes with fresh fruit, yogurt, lemon curd and maple syrup ($13.50). Both dishes were well presented and delicious, with the pancakes proving just a little too much for Leanne.
The service was friendly and efficient.
The coffee was very good. Leanne appreciated the marecetto - like a latte but being in a glass, less overwhelming than a bowl.
We recommend if you come here and it's fine, take the opportunity to sit outside and escape the world in the garden before hitting the Ponsonby boutiques.
Overall we thought One 2 One is a fine place for a catch-up.
