Oscar-winner Denzel Washington has confirmed he plans to make a movie with Peter Jackson after visting Wellington this week.
Button-holed at a Wellington Airport check-in counter by a Washington said Peter Jackson would be providing the special effects for a film, which he was directing.
However, he declined to say whether any filming would be done in Wellington for the movie, which was to be released in two years.
Contrary to earlier denials by Jackson's publicist, he said he had met Jackson during his four-day visit.
"I've had a great time here," he told the Dominion Post newspaper.
