Trustees of the Central Hawke's Bay (CHB) Consumer Power Trust have appointed Hawke's Bay Regional councillor Fenton Wilson as a director for Centralines Limited.
Wilson has been a Hawke's Bay regional councillor since May 2009 and is a director of OSPRI New Zealand Limited, which manages the National Animal Identification and Tracing and TBfree programmes.
He is also chairman of the Wairoa Community Development Trust, a trustee of Predator Free New Zealand and a director of Hawke's Bay Tourism, while farming a 235ha sheep and beef property in Wairoa.
Previously Wilson was operations manager at iFarm NZ Limited.
Trust chairman Alistair Setter said Wilson will bring a solid professional capability, backed by proven experience to the role.
