For the officers and cadets of 11 Squadron District of Hastings Air Training Corps it will be a case of all hands on deck on the approach to, and during, Anzac Day.
The proud personnel will take to the streets as part of Poppy Day in support of the RSA, and are set for extensive duty on the day itself.
"It is a busy day for us," Unit Commander Flying Officer Kevin Corbett said.
"And this year particularly as our cadets support Poppy Day, the Hastings Dawn Service, the Havelock North Civic Service and a new one this year ... the community service at St George's in Crownthorpe."
Flying Officer Corbett said it was a continuation of the unit's pride of being involved in the community as well as in its wider role of developing fine young people in the region.
