Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. We list seven of the best on offer this weekend.

1. Have a Go, Keirunga Gardens, Havelock North

Come to Keirunga Gardens from 10am to 3pm today, for fun with everything from pottery to weaving. Help weave a scarf, try a little crochet, do some hand building, decorate tiles and give the wheel a whirl. There will lots of things for sale, alongside the great range of activities on offer.

2. The Original Gypsy Fair (est 1990), Havelock North Domain

Families and friends are invited to the Havelock North Domain today and tomorrow from 9am, for The Original Gypsy Fair. There will be yummy food, an expansive range of handcrafted products, a wide range of handmade folk art, bead craft, jewellery and machine embroidery, piercing and tattooing, hair braiding, a range of handmade soaps, balms, oils and soy candles plus live entertainment and more. 3. The Topp Twins Heading for the Hills, Napier Municipal Theatre

Armed with guitars, mouth-harp and spoons, the country's favourite twin sisters change musical style and gender with ease, delivering original country music, character comedy, burlesque innuendo, audience participation and some of the finest yodelling you'll hear. The Topps' infamous alter-egos will delight all ages with a memorable, up-close and personal evening of fun and fine singing. 4. Old English Garden Party, Chapelwick Coastal Estate, Porangahau

It is your chance to step back in time and enjoy an Old English Garden Party, on the beautiful Chapelwick Coastal Estate, Porangahau. Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles or non-alcoholic drink on arrival then play croquet, petanque, tennis or tour the house and gardens. High Tea, included in the ticket price, will be served from 2.30pm to 3pm and Chapelwick has a fully stocked bar, which will be open and available from 1pm to 5pm. 5. Believe It Or Not - Pop Quiz Night, Napier RSA Clubrooms

The Napier RSA is holding a night of fun to fundraise for the Sounds of Hawke's Bay Chorus. A raffle, spot prizes and food and drink will be available, at your own cost. Register teams of six by phoning Jackie Robb on 06 834 4603. The event begins at 4.30pm tomorrow.

6. MaraeFit Hikoi Series, Park Island, Napier

Come and join Sport Hawke's Bay for the first leg of its MaraeFit Hikoi Series, designed for all ages. This is a free, MaraeFit-sanctioned event and you can register on the day. Look for the Sport Hawke's Bay and MaraeFit flags and join our hikoi (walk) to historic Maori pa sites around Park Island and learn the history from local Rangatira Kotuku Tomoana. There are also prizes up for grabs. The event begins at 2pm tomorrow and runs until 3pm.

7. Magpies Vs Manawatu, McLean Park, Napier

The Hawke's Bay Magpies are hoping to secure the KR Tremain Memorial Trophy for another year, as they take on the Manawatu Turbos tomorrow at 4.35pm. Gates open at 2.30pm with a curtain-raiser between the Hawke's Bay Ross Shield and Wairarapa Under 13, before the main match at 4.35pm. There are stand tickets at $7.50 for sale, as the Magpies hope to "Pack the Park'' and finish the season on a high.
