There will also be a strong theatre programme featuring themes of culture, identity and wellbeing, with a number of true stories also thrown into the mix.
"This year's focus has been on featuring more Hawke's Bay Artists to showcase our ever growing pool of exceptional talent," Mr Leiser said.
At least eight acts will showcase home-grown talent featuring current or former Hawke's Bay artists.
Alongside the local talent are 11 international acts with performers and crew coming from as far afield as Switzerland, Ireland, Canada and Australia.
Harcourts are the primary sponsor for the event, which started in 2015, and Hawke's Bay Today also supports the festival.
Harcourts managing director Kaine Wilson said the festival was a great fit for their business and it was an event that pulled the whole Hawke's Bay community together.
"It showcases a lot of different segments of arts and culture and it allows the community to access a variety of shows at an affordable level. There is something for everyone."
Mr Wilson said they even had people coming into their office yesterday asking about when tickets were going to be released.
"We are so excited for this year and Arts Inc Heretaunga are a great organisation to work with, we have become like a family."
Hastings mayor Sandra Hazlehurst was also excited for the festival and said it was one of the highlights for the community.
"I can't wait to see what this year's programme will bring as Arts Inc do such an incredible job in presenting this wonderful arts and culture event. I know how much everybody looks forward to it."
Mr Leiser said the support to date had been phenomenal and he couldn't wait to see the audience reaction to this year's event.
