The Jimmy Barnes Working Class Boy show lit up the Pettigrew Green Arena last night after being postponed last month.
A sizeable crowd of "old rockers"- and a few children- turned out for an evening of stories and songs with the veteran performer.
The near-capacity crowd gave "Barnsey" an enthusiastic welcome as he settled in for an evening of talking about himself and his life- from his Glaswegian roots to his success downunder and his battle with alcoholism and depression.
The stage resembled the set of a play with a double bass, piano and drum set on one side and an ancient dining table and chairs on the other.
Barnsey greeted the crowd and said: "It's good to be here. I took my time, didn't I?"
