The 2017 Mission Concert is experiencing the highest demand for tickets from outside of the Hawke's Bay Area in its 25-year history, the concert's promoter Sports Entertainment Limited has revealed today.

Concert management is appealing to anyone with a spare room to register their property on the concert's free accommodation Listing Service.

James Erskine SEL chairman says demand on tickets is incredible.

"We want to be able to accommodate as many fans as possible and urge locals who can host visitors, to register their property today," says Mr Erskine.

"We also need to point out to locals that we are on track for a sellout and most of the tickets are being snapped up by people outside of the Hawkes Bay. Any local residents who are intending on attending this concert must get their tickets immediately or they will miss out as the rest of New Zealand is coming to Hawke's Bay."
