Barry Gibb, the eldest and surviving member of the iconic Bee Gees, has been confirmed as the headline act for the February 23 Mission Concert in Hawke's Bay, and event management company SEL expects a strong demand for tickets.
Carole King will be supporting artist.
Gibb, 66, will be launching his international `Mythology Tour' with three concerts in his old homeland of Australia before jetting to Napier to perform on the Mission stage.
The tour has been put together to pay tribute to the success he and his brothers Maurice and Robin achieved on the world's music stage over five decades.
