One of the most recognised cars in the world, and a popular target for hot rod builders, will be the toast of this Sunday's big Hot Rod and Classic Car Festival being staged at the Meeanee Domain off Sandy Rd.
For the organisers, the Marineland Street Rod and Kustom Klub, it was an easy choice for a theme for the 25th annual show as 50 years ago, when the club was founded, the members chose a 'T' bucket for the fledgling club's logo.
"So we thought it appropriate to celebrate that anniversary this year," club stalwart Malcolm Wilkie said.
There will be standard vintage Model Ts as well as the modified jobs including hot rods and dragsters "and everything in between".
Mr Wilkie said there would also be the swap stalls and displays, including the popular car drop, dragster "fire-ups", remote car racing and children's rides.
