Ever heard the name Bella Hadid? Or perhaps Gigi Hadid rings a bell? Nope? It's time someone brought you up to speed then.

Those aforementioned jingly-sounding names belong to the sister duo taking over the fashion industry (no biggie). And, perhaps more excitingly, they pose as contenders in familial fame to that other sister pack taking over the world. You know, with their apps and puffed lips and big booties.

A quick Google of the Hadid sisters will bring up about 47 million search results, each. (Yes, you'll find Bella in THAT dress. From every angle.)

So just who is this sisterly force and why do people care so much about what's in Gigi's fridge? Milk, apparently.

In a nutshell, here's what you need to know about Gigi and Bella Hadid:

Who are they?

Gigi, 21, and Bella, 19, are the genetically blessed daughters of former model and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster and property mogul Mohamed Hadid.
The girls appeared on the show as teens, were both signed to IMG Models and quickly became It girls.

Where can you find them?

Just this week the pair have been snapped at Cannes, in New York, and racked up 17 slots in the Daily Mail side bar. Before you knew who they were, they were parading the catwalks of Victoria's Secret, Chanel and Balmain.

Confirmation of their It girl statuses?

If Gigi's face gracing the cover of 11 issues of Vogue in one year isn't enough - Bella had one too - the Topshop campaigns and muso boyfriends surely cement the tag.

Aside from her own social following - 17.8 million on Instagram alone - Gigi's status is currently amplified by her man candy: Former One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik, and her bestie: Kendall Jenner.

Bella, who can be spotted on the arm of The Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye, is also a nationally ranked equestrian player who was forced to pull out of the Olympics due to Lyme disease.
