Britain released its new £5 note this week and many were surprised to learn it can be used to play vinyl.
Because of the hard-wearing polymer compound, the corner of the note can be used as a needle on a spinning record.
This led to a flurry of YouTube videos being posted by surprised music fans.
Turns out you can do the same thing with a New Zealand $50 note.

We asked DJ Dick Johnson to test it out, and he used it to play Chaka Khan's I Feel For You.
"It's definitely recognisable as Chaka Khan," Johnson says.
But the DJ has a warning: "It's a good party trick. Not sure I'd play it at a club though."
