Ryan Dunn has been targeted by hackers even in death.
Dunn's mother, Linda Piscitello, had to appeal to have "disgusting" tweets deleted after they were made on Dunn's account by the hackers, TMZ reports.
The late Jackass star died in a car crash in 2011, so fans were understandably disturbed to see messages coming from his otherwise inactive Twitter account.
The hackers were posting as if the messages were coming from Dunn from the afterlife, referencing other high-profile deaths including the late rapper Tupac Shakur and Harambe the gorilla.
The messages have since been deleted, after Piscitello told TMZ that someone outside of his family and friends had gained access to his account.
One fan replied: "It's pretty sad that some loser has to hack into a dead person's social media account just to get a bit of attention". Others agreed saying it was "sad" and "disrespectful".
