The long-awaited sequel to 1996 hit
is all kinds of rubbish, but at least some good has come from it.
In a canny effort to promote
, those marketing the film have set up a website,
where you can put it any address you like - your own street, that of a friend or enemy, or of a famous landmark - and see what it'd look like in the grips of a massive alien apocalypse.
We've had few goes ourselves, and we can report that it's HOURS OF FUN.
Give it a go yourself an the Independence Day My Street website. We're gonna go out on a limb and say it's a more entertaining use of two hours than watching that bloody sequel.
