Amy Schumer has taken aim at the body-shaming "trolls" who poked fun at a swimsuit shot of the comedienne taken at the weekend.
The Trainwreck star was happy in Hawaii, enjoying a getaway with pals and boyfriend Ben Hanisch, when paparazzi spotted her and snapped photos of the group frolicking on the beach.
Schumer, 34, wasn't bothered the shots of her in a black one-piece bathing suit surfaced, but she was more than a little hurt and angry by the insults anonymous social media users hurled at her and the images.
She started fighting back, taking to Instagram, to repost one of the beachside paparazzi shots, and writing, "Good morning trolls!"
Schumer added, "I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you've never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone. This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda. Kisses!"
And she wasn't about to let the negative feedback ruin her six-month anniversary.
Last week, she posted a sweet photo of herself and her beau Hansich cuddling up to each other on a boat with the sun setting behind them on Instagram.
"6 months with this babe and I couldn't be any happier," Hanisch wrote.
Another snap featured Schumer's silhouette from their hotel room, as the backdrop of the ocean and sunset shone from the distance.
He simply captioned the photo with a smiley face emoji with heart eyes.
