Kristen Stewart's new supernatural movie Personal Shopper has gone from boos to a standing ovation.
Critics at a Cannes premiere booed the Olivier Assayas thriller on Monday, but the film has since premiered and earned itself a four and a half minute-long standing ovation from the audience.

A happy-looking Stewart took to the stage after the screening and was seen hugging her co-stars and Assayas while the crowd continued to applaud.

Addressing the poor reception on Monday, Assayas said: "It happens to me once in a while, where people just don't get the ending. When you come to Cannes, you have to be prepared for everything."
