Twenty One Pilots wing their way back to NZ

They rocked a sold-out concert in Auckland last year and now Twenty One Pilots are set to return to New Zealand for an even bigger show.

Upgrading from The Powerstation to Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre, the American alt-pop duo will perform a one-off, all-ages show this April, before heading to Australia to play at the Groovin' the Moo music festival.

Sing-songwriter Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun know how to entertain a crowd, wrote the Herald in a review of their last show here, calling it "a night of musical mayhem, in the best possible way."

And with last year's Blurryface Tour selling out, 2016 is sure to be even bigger and better for the Car Radio hit makers.

Twenty One Pilots have found an enthusiastic fan following since the release of their self-titled LP, 2013's Vessel and most recently with their 2015 album Blurryface which reached No. 1 in the US charts.

Tickets go on sale midday Friday, February 26, with pre-sale tickets available from February 22.
