This year's Bafta nominees will get a free trip to a winery in New Zealand in their goodie bags.

Stars in the running for prizes and speakers attending the 69th EE British Academy Film Awards this weekend will each receive an Exclusive Nominee Gift Bag donated by the Official Film Awards Partners packed with expensive freebies.

This year's bag includes a trip to Auckland with a guest to visit the Villa Maria winery followed by a lunch, tour, wine tasting session and a bottle of Champagne Taittinger Brut reserve NV.

The contents also include Cocorose London's folding shoes to mark the luxury brands seventh anniversary, a Globe trotter Safari Ivory 21 inch Trolley Case with Natural Leather, and a 10 per cent discount off of an 88 Rue Du Rhone timepiece.

Other items include Evian brumisateur spray to hydrate their skin, Hotel Chocolat's 'The Everything Sleekster' box featuring 27 chocolate truffles, Lancome perfume and mascara, Savoy English Breakfast Marmalade, Fortnum and Mason's teas and a Hacket London Pocket Square.

Among the stars expected to attend the Baftas are Eddie Redmayne, Leonardo DiCaprio, John Boyega, Alicia Vikander, Brie Larson, Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet.

Trips to New Zealand have become popular prizes in awards goodie bags, with four nights' free accommodation at newly opened The Lodge at Kinloch in Taupo recently given to Emmy winners.

Among those who paired a golden gong with the freebie were Modern Family's Ty Burrell, Anthony Anderson, of Black-ish, hip-hop artist and actor LL Cool J, Will Forte of Last Man on Earth and Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik.

The 69th Bafta Awards take place at The Royal Opera House in London this Sunday (Monday, NZ time).
