Kanye West has apologised to Wiz Khalifa after he launched a foul-mouthed rant at him on Wednesday night.

But Khalifa hasn't apparently accepted his apology, getting the crowd at a concert in Argentina to scream "F*** Kanye" for the chorus of a song.

West was forced to backtrack on his insulting remarks after he locked horns with the 28-year-old rapper when he mistakenly thought his rival was publicly shaming his wife Kim Kardashian West on Twitter.

Taking to the micro-blogging site an hour after he became entangled in a war of words with Khalifa, West wrote: "Ima take these down cause it's all about positive energy blessings blessings positive energy blessings (sic)."

However, despite wanting a peaceful vibe, West seemingly couldn't help but take a subtle dig at Khalifa by claiming he'd managed to lose him followers on the social networking site.

Kanye later decided to put the feud to bed after Wiz claimed the "KK" he referenced in an earlier tweet meant marijuana.

The pair initially came to blows after Khalifa mocked West for deciding to change the title of his forthcoming album.

West hit back: "First of all, you stole your whole s**t from Cudi", and then added: "Second, your first single was corny as f**k and most there after."

But things took a turn for the worse when West brought Khalifa's relationship with Amber Rose, with whom he has a son Sebastian, into the bitter feud.

West, who dated Amber before he started his relationship with Kardashian, said: "3rd no one I know has ever listened to one of your albums all the way through. 4th you let a stripper trap you. 5th I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years. 6th don't ever come out the side of your neck at me.(sic)"

The 38-year-old rapper has now removed his rant from his Twitter page.
